Acceptable Use Policy

Quinn™ is a product offered by Hyve, Inc. This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to the Quinn™ product and services, including Ask Quinn (“Quinn” or “Services”), offered by Hyve, Inc. (“Hyve,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Artificial intelligence and machine learning have the potential to revolutionize investing. Quinn™ is a financial advice tool powered by Hyve’s proprietary algorithms to provide users with personalized financial advice and planning services. Quinn employs artificial intelligence and language models to facilitate communication between Quinn and its users. Ask Quinn™ is still in testing, and there are still kinks to work out. Therefore, we have developed this Acceptable Use Policy to ensure that Quinn™ is used safely and responsibly.

Prohibited Use of the Services

The Services should not be used for any of the following:

Investment Decisions

The Services, including any output from Quinn (“Output”), should not be used to make investment decisions for yourself or others. You must do your own research and must not rely on any Output to make decisions, including investment decisions. You should always consult with your legal, tax, and/or financial advisors before making any financial decisions.

Investment Advice

Output should never be considered investment advice or research. The Output may be materially inaccurate, and the Services do not consider all factors that may affect investment or other decision-making. They also do not account for individual goals, risk aversion, and other circumstances. The appropriateness of a particular investment depends on an investor’s personal situation and objectives.

Quinn™ is designed not to provide specific stock or investment recommendations. Should Quinn™ inadvertently provide such a recommendation, it is not endorsing that stock. Output should never be considered a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold a security, nor an offer to sell or solicitation to purchase any security, future, or other financial instrument or product.

Personal, Sensitive, or Confidential Information

You should not input the following into the Services:
a. Any personal information, including names, phone numbers, addresses, emails, or birth dates; or
b. Confidential or sensitive information.

Illegal Activity

Use of the Services for any illegal activity is strictly prohibited.

Child Sexual Abuse Material

We prohibit using the Services to input or generate Child Sexual Abuse Material or any content that exploits or harms children.

Hateful, Harassing, or Violent Content

We prohibit using the Services to input or generate:

  • Content that expresses, incites, or promotes hate based on identity
  • Content that intends to harass, threaten, or bully an individual
  • Content that promotes or glorifies violence or celebrates the suffering or humiliation of others

Malware

We prohibit using the Services to input or generate code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to a computer system.

Physical Harm

We prohibit using the Services for activity that has high risk of physical harm, including but not limited to:

  • Weapons development
  • Military and warfare applications
  • Management or operation of critical infrastructure (energy, transportation, water)
  • Content that promotes or depicts acts of self-harm (suicide, cutting, eating disorders)

Economic Harm

We prohibit using the Services for activity that has high risk of economic harm, including but not limited to:

  • Multi-level marketing
  • Gambling
  • Payday lending
  • Automated determinations of eligibility for credit, employment, education, or public assistance services

Fraudulent or Deceptive Activity

We prohibit using the Services for fraudulent or deceptive activity, including but not limited to:

  • Scams and coordinated inauthentic behavior
  • Plagiarism or academic dishonesty
  • Fake reviews or disinformation (“astroturfing”)
  • Spam or pseudo-pharmaceuticals

Adult Content

We prohibit using the Services to input or generate adult content, including but not limited to:

  • Content meant to arouse sexual excitement
  • Descriptions of sexual activity
  • Content promoting sexual services, erotic chat, or pornography

Political Campaigning or Lobbying

We prohibit using the Services for political campaigning or lobbying, including:

  • Generating high volumes of campaign materials
  • Targeted campaign content for specific demographics
  • Chatbots that provide political information or advocacy
  • Building tools for political campaigning or lobbying purposes

Privacy Violations

We prohibit using the Services for activities that violate privacy, including but not limited to:

  • Tracking or monitoring individuals without consent
  • Facial recognition of private individuals
  • Classifying people based on protected characteristics
  • Using biometrics for identification or assessment
  • Unlawful collection or disclosure of personal, financial, or educational records

Legal Advice

We prohibit using the Services to engage in the practice of law or offer legal advice. Always consult with a qualified legal professional for any legal questions or advice.

Medical Advice

We prohibit using the Services to determine health conditions or provide instructions for treatment. The Services must not be used to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. Always consult with a qualified medical professional for medical questions or advice.

Government Decision-Making

We prohibit using the Services for government decision-making, including but not limited to:

  • Law enforcement and criminal justice
  • Migration and asylum determinations

Sharing and Disclosure of Output

To mitigate the possible risks of content generated by artificial intelligence (“AI”), we have established the following policies on sharing and disclosure of Output:

  • Always manually review each Output before sharing to ensure compliance with this Policy and the Quinn Advisor Program Testing Agreement (“Quinn Advisor Agreement”).
  • Do not share Output that violates this Policy or the Quinn Agreement, or that may offend others.
  • Always attribute the Output to Quinn.
  • Always indicate that the Output is AI-generated in a way that users cannot miss or misunderstand.
  • Use good judgment when accepting input suggestions from others. Do not enter prompts that might result in violations of this Policy or the Quinn Advisor Agreement.
  • Remember: Quinn™ is an experimental tool in beta testing. Output may contain biased, inaccurate, incomplete, or untimely responses. Never represent Output as definitively accurate, correct, true, current, or complete.
  • Do not rely on Output without independently verifying its accuracy and suitability for use, including human review.
  • Never represent that Output is or can serve as:
    a. An investment recommendation
    b. Investment advice
    c. Investment research
    d. A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold a security
    e. An offer to sell or a solicitation to purchase any security, future, or financial product
